Price list display settings
What Are Display Settings?
Display Settings control how Netwise pricing appears to customers on your Shopify storefront — on product pages, in the cart, and throughout the buying experience.
Key points:
Customize what B2B customers see when they browse your store.
Show or hide specific pricing elements like unit prices, discounts, or catalog labels.
Settings apply to the storefront only — they don't affect backend pricing logic.
Most display options are managed through the Shopify Theme Editor.
How to Enable Netwise in Theme Editor
To display B2B pricing on your storefront, you need to activate Netwise inside your Shopify Theme Editor.
Key points:
Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Look for the App Embeds section within the theme editor.
Enable the Netwise app embed toggle.
Save your theme settings — Netwise will now be active on your storefront.
Important: Without enabling the app embed, B2B pricing will not appear to customers even if catalogs are fully set up.
App Embed and Its Role
The Netwise App Embed is the connection between the app and your live storefront. It must be active for any pricing or display features to work.
Key points:
The App Embed injects Netwise's pricing logic into your storefront pages.
It works in the background — customers don't see it directly.
Disabling the app embed will hide all Netwise pricing for all customers immediately.
It does not require any code changes — it's a toggle in the Theme Editor.
Product Page Customization
Netwise lets you control how B2B pricing is shown on individual product pages.
Key points:
Display the catalog price instead of (or alongside) the original price.
Show a "You Save" label to highlight the discount amount.
Hide pricing entirely for guests or non-B2B visitors.
Customize which pricing elements are visible to logged-in B2B customers.
Cart Page Customization
You can configure how pricing and discount information appears on the cart page for B2B customers.
Key points:
Show the B2B discounted price for each line item in the cart.
Display a savings summary (e.g., "You're saving $45 on this order").
Show or hide the original price for comparison.
Minimum order messages are also displayed here when the cart total is too low.
Show/Hide Pricing Elements
Netwise gives you granular control over which pricing elements are visible or hidden on your storefront.
Key points:
Elements you can show or hide include: catalog price, original price, discount badge, savings amount, and price labels.
Visibility settings can differ for logged-in B2B customers vs. regular visitors.
Hide sensitive pricing from non-B2B customers while keeping it visible to your wholesale buyers.
Changes take effect immediately across all pages using that setting.
Controlling Storefront Visibility for B2B Customers
You can control what B2B customers see when they visit your store — ensuring the right pricing and content is shown to the right people.
Key points:
Logged-in B2B customers see catalog prices based on their assigned customer group.
Guests or retail customers see standard Shopify prices (or no prices, if configured).
You can choose to hide prices entirely for non-logged-in visitors.
This ensures your B2B pricing stays private and exclusive to authorized buyers.
Tip: Combine visibility controls with a login-required page to make your B2B pricing fully gated.
